Word From The Bird,
First of all i am sure I am not alone in my feelings regarding FredonPok. From the chat during the game, I could tell he managed to piss off the whole forum. His refusal to play by the rules for last night shows he is not the kind of player we want with us. In my opinion he needs to be banned. The $5 bounty I put on him was the best 5 bucks I have ever given away. ( WTG Duck......you da man! ) It took almost every drop of restraint I have in me not to go postal on him. It's a shame somebody chooses to act the way he did when we all go out of our way to welcome him. I would like to see other's opinions on this. Nuff said.:ban:

I'd like to see about 30 players in every tourney. It takes about the same amount of time and is certainly more rewarding when you win. When FredonPok showed up a week or so ago asking for the password at the table I told him that we don't just pass it out willy nilly because that's where we get these blasters who could care less if they lose running roughshod over a group that's actually trying to improve their game and just have fun. He was directed to go to the forum and get it there. He was then able to play the late game that night. His play was satisfactory, but his table manners were not.
There must be a tempered approach to new players where we are tolerant and welcoming but also ensure new players are something of a "fit" for the group itself. The nature of the games we play offer fun, rewards and bounties on an honor basis. This is an "implied contract". I host the King of the Hill game where I send $10 to the person who takes out the preceding weeks winner, the must show game obligates players who participate to hold up their end of the bargain as well.
If we don't honor our commitments (deliberately) what does this say about the kind of people we are? I believe Cali banned FredonPok for 1 week. The idea that he can return should be the olive branch we extend to him so that he has the ability to learn from his mistakes. Hopefully, that's just what he decides to do.

Fred has been banned, and we are working on having his IP banned too. We do not need players to come to our games and upset the games we have set up. The idea is to make games that are fun and interesting, play against our friends and possibly make new friends at the same time.
If your going to insult and embarress our forum your going to be banned.
The Show Me game is a simple game and I think people actually enjoy the concept of seeing the cards people are playing. We started this type of game Show Me and it is now being played on other forums. We are completely flattered that our game is now a part of other forums! Im surprised PokerStars hasnt picked up on this concept, and they could make it automatic that the cards would be shown at the end of the hand!
This game happens once a week and people understand that. If they dont want to show their cards then dont play in this game. We have 13 other games to play in a week.
