The Law and You

Now most of us are in one way or another affected by this law that was passed against online gambling. We know about what happened to Neteller and what impact that had on the poker community. So what I am wondering is what impact it has on you personally. Personally it has not affected me too much as I just found an alternative way around it.

For me it has effected the way I move money around on the sites I play. I used to play at anywhere from four to eight poker sites. I used Neteller to easily move money around from site to site. With them out of the picture It's been a lot more of a pain in the ass to move funds around and get money back from poker sites. With the new BS laws I'm also leery of getting checks from poker sites because I'm afraid that one time my bank will refuse to cash it. It sucks not having that money at a place like Neteller for easy use.

With all of that I guess you can tell that I play a lot less poker than I used to. It's only a matter of time before our government pulls it head out of it's ass and figures out a way to tax us on our online poker playing. Then they will not have any problem with it at all.

It affects me big time because now, I don't know which sites to use to put money into. And freerolls are really becoming harder to come by.

The best way to put money on sites now is to use an AllAccessCard (http://www.AllAccessCard.com).
