This bill is sounding really good and it's much better then i thought we as Americans were going to have for some time to come.It also appears to me like they are going to try and push with some speed through all the channels and there is only a tiny waiting period , unlike the last bill that floundered around Congress for so long with the whole 2 year waiting period or something close to that. We will never probably get Poker Stars back nor any of the other big 3 that went down in flames on Black Friday but if this bill passes we will have legitimate, fair & regulated poker on line and the deposit & withdraw process will seem like a dream compared to the shit we have to jump in around & through now to play.

The thing that scares me most is that Congress loves to drag things out to the point that the political winds may shift by the time they get around to voting. If they can fast track this so that the morons who are against this don't have time to "think it thru" we are all dollars ahead.

We'll see.

Maybe today's news of Full Tilt going under will add weight to this legislation. However I think it's extremely unlikely that US players will have the opportunity to play on international sites for the foreseeable future.

I think the shut down of Full Tilt for their failure to pay up is a huge step in the right direction. There is simply no justification for them to be so leveraged as business that they utilized players funds for any purpose. They were just suppose to hold players money.

While I agree it is too bad Americans won't be allowed to play on any international sites, I am happy to see some progress toward being able to play at all. Maybe there will be a way for those outside the US to play with us here.
