Raise, Ha!

I tried to post this a week or so ago, but had issues........ I'll try again.
Once each day on PokerStars there is a $5 entry OmahaHi/low8 tourney with rebuys and a one time only (at the break ) $25 addon. It's interesting since there is a clear strategy I think can be employed to maximum effect if you're a pretty good Omaha hi/Low8 player.
At the beginning of the tourney, take the auto rebuy, then watch the others at your table. In the first orbit you will see clear indications of who is willing to rebuy again and again, and who the poor people are. The poor people usually will be rocks until they have teriffic starters, then they pounce. They never double buy in at the beginning and usually will rebuy only once, then leave.
The real chip leakers are those who play their AQ46 hands hoping to fill in the winners. The flop therefore determines strategy. If you are up against a rock, and the flop comes fairly neutral, (like 5h,9d, 10,d Js) a big bet makes them fold. Similarly, if you're against loose players and an Ace hits , you can expect they were counterfeited on their low so that too can be exploited. The strategy involves a read of what the player against you holds rather than power poker per se'. Still, having something at showdown is helpful, but hopefully it never gets to that point.
There is very little opportunity to bluff in Omaha hi/low8 but in these the opportunity presents itself moreso than a standard tourney. Hopefully, you can accumulate enough chips by aggressive play against the right players and the $25 add on becomes unnecessary. Try this and see how it works for you.
