So I was donking around on Poker Stars late Christmas night when Poker Stars throws out an announcement of a 500 frequent player point tournament starting in 10 minutes with the top 99 finishers winning a ticket to a Sunday Million Tournament. So I went to check the status of the registration there were only 270 players registered. 270 players registered in a tournament where 99 people will get a Sunday Million Tournament Ticket. Liking those odds, I decided to give it a shot. Well when it was all said and done 409 people registered and in the end I was fortunate enough to get one of the 99 tickets. With this tournament I played in, Poker Stars bascially contributed $21,285.00 to the prize pool. Divide that by 409 entries, that equates to getting a tournament entry of $52.05 for 500 frequent player points. Not a bad deal at all. I so badly want to play this weeks tournament because it has a guaranteed prize pool of 2.5 million dollars, but I have relatives coming for a post Christmas dinner and I will probably be visiting with them. Thankfully there is no expiration date on the ticket.

Wow! That's an awesome deal! That'll teach me. What was I thinking getting drunk and watching a Rocky Marathon instead of playing poker?
