Jeff Gordon fires his entire pit crew

This announcement followed Gordon's decision to take advantage of the government's scheme to employ Harlem youngsters.

The decision to hire them was brought about by a recent documentary on how unemployed youths from Harlem were able to remove a set of wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment, whereas Gordon's existing crew could only do it in 8 seconds with millions of dollars worth of high tech equipment. It was thought to be an excellent and bold move by Gordon's management team as most races are won or lost in the pits. However-Gordon got more than he bargained for!

At the crew's first practice session, not only was the inexperienced crew able to change all 4 wheels in under 6 seconds, but within 12 seconds they had re-sprayed, re-numbered, and sold the car to Dale Jr. for 10 cases of Bud, a bag of weed, and some photos of Jeff Gordon's wife in the shower.

Thank you KR, where i copied this from. its pretty funny!

I wonder if the new paint scheme will make him do any better than last year, maybe that is what he needed:rofl:

Personally, I don't think they did too bad. Sure, I want to see the #24 Dupont team win races and Championships. They had more misfortune than they usually do getting caught up in other drivers mistakes. They also had a few of their own mistakes that are uncharacteristic for the team.

On the bright side they did have 13 top 5 finishes in 36 races. That's just better than 1 out of every 3 races. Over the last 10 races of the year they suffered 2 engine problems which you don't see that often with Hendrick motors. The other 8 races of the final 10 they averaged a 6.5 finish. Personally I'm not worried those 2 engine problems. They have some of the best people working there and whatever the problems were will get fixed.

Don't be surprised if you see Jeff Gordon and the #24 Dupont Team in Victory Lane multiple times in 2009. And YES, the new paint scheme will help. Hell, I think they should bring back the Rainbow Warriors theme. That way all the HATERS can crack all the jokes just like they used too while those Rainbow Warriors notch win after win.
