I have made the final table in the 745pm pst $1.20 limit razz MTT the last 3 nights which has definitely helped the minuscule bankroll. Night before last I was able to finish 6th. A bit disappointing as with only 20 left I had a major chip lead, but the final table was nothing but trouble. The way that final table went 6th was fortunate. The next evening, the 9th, I hit the final table again with a 5th place finish. Tonight was the smallest field I have faced with only 128 entrants. Started off slowly with no playable hands for most of the first hour until the end and hit the 1st break with double what i started with. Things progressed steadily, some ups, some downs, and once again hit the final table for the third straight night. Final table went back and fourth and i ranged from chip leader to short stack and back again. It was a battle and in the end came out with 3rd place. Just a matter of time before I grab the win.

The $1.20 Limit SNG's continue well. 53 played and 34 in the money. Total profit from Limit SNG's is currently $40 and the profit from the Razz MTT's is at just under $28. Pretty nice feeling I must say, but the best thing is when I look at how many buy-ins I have. no longer do i need to worry about going broke for the simple reason I have such a cushion and in fact can start looking forward to going up in stakes, up to the $3.40's. That is not yet, however. Before I go up in stakes I will need 50 buy-ins. Most say 30, but I want to run my bankroll requirements more conservatively.

Currently the bankroll stands at $79.92. Need to earn another $100 before I jump to the $3.40's, but it gives me something to look forward to. I am using the filter on stars and have removed all NL SNG's and MTT's from my choices and that includes those 90 person 25 centers I was playing. For almost 5 years I have been playing NL tourneys, trying to improve, trying to figure the best approach, but the best approach is what I have always said to those I have and am mentoring. "Play to your strengths and avoid your weaknesses." Time I started following that to the letter myself.

The bottom line is I am very good at limit tourneys, cash games, and SNG's and I have the results to show myself. Every real money MTT I have ever won or final tabled at has been 95% of the limit variety. Who am I kidding to try to do and play otherwise. To think of how much of the profits I have wasted these last years playing and continuing to try to improve my NL skills is sickening. No more banging my head against a wall. let the limit games go onward.

That's it for now. be well and play well.
